What are the Principles and Elements of Interior design?
The principles of design, balance; proportion and scale; pattern; rhythm; contrast; emphasis and unity, are like the blueprint, the cardinal rules that designers follow to be able to create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing interior. The Elements of design, colour; value; line; shape; texture; light; furniture and accessories are the tools used to carry out the principles of design. Artist and designers are taught to uses these principles and elements of design as the fundamentals to rely on when solving problems, and what we use to create good design
